1. About this Notice
This Cookie Notice explains how Neutron AI Ltd (“Neutron”) uses cookies and similar technologies on neutronai.dev, platform.neutronai.dev, admin.neutronai.dev, related Neutron domains, and Neutron native applications. It should be read with our Privacy Notice.
A cookie is a small text value stored by a browser and sent with relevant requests. Local storage keeps a value on a device without automatically sending it on every request. These technologies may be first-party, set for a Neutron domain, or supplied by an infrastructure provider performing a service for Neutron.
2. How we use these technologies
Neutron currently uses cookies or device storage only where needed to:
- authenticate a user and maintain a secure session;
- store a native application session token on the user’s device;
- remember an interface colour-mode preference where the framework stores one;
- route, protect, and deliver the Service, including bot, abuse, and network-security controls where enabled; and
- remember choices that a user expressly asks the application to retain.
These purposes are strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user or preserve security and basic functionality. Neutron does not currently deploy analytics, advertising, marketing-personalisation, or cross-site tracking cookies on its public website or hosted platform.
3. Current cookies and local storage
| Name | Technology and provider | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
neutron_platform_session | First-party, HTTP-only cookie | Authenticates a user to the hosted Neutron platform. Configured as SameSite=Lax and Secure over HTTPS. | 12 hours by default; no more than 7 days under supported configuration, or until sign-out. |
neutron_admin_session | First-party, HTTP-only cookie | Authenticates authorised Neutron administrators to the restricted administration service. | 12 hours by default; no more than 7 days under supported configuration, or until sign-out. |
neutron_platform_session_token | First-party local storage in the native application | Allows the installed native application to authenticate API requests where browser cookies are unavailable. | Until sign-out, session expiry, account deletion, or application data is cleared. |
nuxt-color-mode | First-party local storage | Stores an interface colour-mode preference when that control is available. | Until the preference or browser storage is cleared. |
neutron_cookie_preferences (legacy) | First-party local storage written by versions released before 12 August 2026 | This inactive value recorded a preferences-modal choice but did not activate analytics or marketing technology. Current Neutron code does not read or write it. | Until browser storage is cleared. |
Cloudflare security cookies, such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance | First-party security cookies supplied by Cloudflare when an applicable protection or challenge is active | Distinguishes legitimate traffic, completes a security challenge, mitigates bots, and protects availability. | Short-lived and set only when the corresponding Cloudflare security feature requires them; duration is controlled by that feature. |
A technology may not appear on every Neutron property, device, or visit. Session duration may be shortened for security, and clearing or blocking necessary storage can sign you out or prevent a feature from working.
4. Analytics, advertising, and future changes
Neutron does not currently use non-essential analytics cookies, advertising cookies, marketing cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-context behavioural tracking. The product therefore does not present a consent banner that suggests those technologies are active.
If we introduce a non-essential technology, we will update this Notice, explain its provider, purpose, data, and duration, and request consent before setting or accessing it where required. Rejecting an optional technology will be as easy as accepting it, and withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
5. Your controls
Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies and site storage through privacy or site-data settings. Mobile operating systems and the Neutron native app let you clear application data or sign out. Blocking a strictly necessary authentication or security technology may prevent login or other requested functionality.
Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not a standardised legal choice that applies uniformly. Because Neutron does not currently sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising, a Global Privacy Control signal does not change current processing. We will recognise legally required preference signals if our practices become subject to them.
6. Changes to this Notice
We will update this Notice when cookies, local storage, providers, purposes, or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or account email where appropriate.
